The MAC is composed of 59 members, representing the entire seafood value chain as well as other interests groups, from 11 Member States and provides recommendations on matters relevant for the EU market of fishery and aquaculture products.\nOn July 13-15, the MAC will be organising a Workshop on Voluntary Sustainability Claims on Seafood Products. The purpose of the workshop is to bring together members of the MAC, institutions and external experts in a constructive exchange about how voluntary sustainability claims on seafood products, including ecolabels and certification schemes, interact with the EU seafood market.
